The fact that 1000's of men came out to support "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" says a lot about the progressive nature of today's society. New generations are becoming more liberal, allowing for such an event to occur. Fifty years ago, no one would have dreamed of seeing men strut their stuff in heels. Domestic violence is a serious issue. If the event changed even one person's perspective, it was worth having. Many people, including myself, enjoy breaking out of their every-day routines.
